Walk to End Alzheimer's to benefit our community

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Alzheimer's Association invites Dane County residents to unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions by participating in the association's Walk to End Alzheimer's.

It's an experience for over 1,000 local families in our community. The event kick-off will be on Saturday, July 19th at Cheeseburger in Paradise. There will be a breakfast to explain some benefits of partnering with the Alzheimer's Association and explain the registration process.

The organization encourages any new person with memory loss, their friends and family to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Walkers will learn about Alzheimer's disease and how to get involved with this critical cause, from advocacy opportunities, the latest in Alzheimer's research and clinical trial enrollment to support programs and services.
Each walker will also join in a meaningful promise garden ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers.
