UPDATE: Names released of victims in Milton crash

MILTON (WKOW) -- The Rock County Sheriff's Office released the names of four people involved in a two vehicle crash that happened on North State Highway 26 near Milton early this morning.

A truck veered across the centerline and collided head-on with a car around midnight on July 14th.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead on scene.  The driver has been identified as 37-year-old Lisa Furlott of Milton.

The passenger of the car was 34-year-old Jessica Furlott of Madison.  Jessica Furlott is in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the truck was identified as 21-year-old David Wartner III of Janesville.  The truck passenger was 41-year-old David Wartner Jr. of Janesville.

MILTON (WKOW) -- Rock County Sheriff's Office says one person died in a crash on State Highway 26 near Milton Township early Sunday morning.

Initial investigation shows a truck veered across the centerline and collided head-on with a car.  The driver of the car died.

The passenger of the car was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with life threatening injuries.  The driver of the truck was transported to St. Mary's hospital; his injuries are not life threatening.  The passenger of the truck was transported to St. Mary's as precaution.

At this time, the Rock County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team believes the fact of the accident is fatigue, not alcohol.

North State Highway 26 was closed for about five hours during reconstruction.

The investigation is still going.  The names of victims have not been released.
