Eau Claire (WQOW) -- A former major leaguer is in Eau Claire to help current Express players.
That former major leaguer is also an Express dad.
Jose Vizcaino will spend some time in Eau Cliare with his son, Jose Vizcaino, Jr., an infielder with the Express this summer. The older Vizcaino played eighteen seasons in the majors with eight different teams, and his hoping to use his experience as a teaching tool.
"I went through that when I was their age," says Vizcaino, "and just coming here and seeing them, and their eyes every time they see me working with them. I'm so happy because I played in the big leagues for so many years and all the experience I can come and just help them out."
"It's pretty exciting for him to come," says Vizcaino, Jr., "I wish he could be here all the time but with his schedule its hard for him to come up, but I was just thankful that he came out for a week, this upcoming week. Hopefully he can share some tips and share some experiences and some cool stories and stuff about him in the big leagues, so it's pretty exciting."
