Eau Claire (WQOW) -- The 14th-annual Eau Claire Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament wraps up Sunday.
More than 240 teams competed in the three day event. Organizers say that outstanding community support from volunteers and sponsors as well as three straight days of beautiful weather helped make this years tournament a great success.
"We had a great weekend down here on First Avenue outside of Owen Park," says tournament organizer Jim Gobler, "great teams, great sportsmanship this weekend. Great crowd, a lot of participation from the crowd and the weather was fantastic. But on top of that, our volunteer base of 250 people, mostly parents and students and alumni from Regis High School, but we also had some people from outside the community step up this year and have a great time coming down here, they really enjoyed it and they all said they were going to come back again next year."
