Woman struck by hit & run driver on Dolphin Drive


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police were called to Dolphin Drive early Tuesday morning for the report of a hit-and-run, involving a pedestrian.

A 39-year-old woman was out walking, in cooler temperatures, when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Dolphin Drive at Urich Terrace.

The victim states she was clipped by the passenger side mirror of a black SUV.  The driver appeared to have taken the corner wide.

The woman fell to the ground and suffered non life-threatening injuries.  She does have some abrasions and a possible broken arm.
