New judge will oversee Chippewa County fatal crash case

Chippewa County (WQOW) - A new judge will oversee a fatal crash case in Chippewa County.

Krista Holler, from Cadott, has been charged in the death of Stanley dentist doctor Robert Tschabrun.  She had her first day in court Tuesday.  The judge excused himself from hearing the case because of a connection he has to one of the parties involved. That means a new judge will have to be appointed. Investigators say holler had been drinking before she allegedly hit Tschabrun head on. Tschabrun was on his bike at the time. Instead of calling for help when it happened, she allegedly called friends to give her a ride back to a bar.  She later told detectives she had swerved to miss a deer.
