Green Bay (WQOW) -- New seats in the south end zone at Lambeau Field will expand the capacity of the venerable stadium by more than 7,000.
That means, those people who spent some thirty years on a season ticket waiting list will finally get their chance to make the place even noisier.
"I am really excited about the south end zone," says Packers President & CEO Mark Murphy, "number one it's going to be much louder in there and give us a much better home field advantage. For our fans we got about 5000 people coming off the waiting list so am excited for them obviously they've been waiting a long time. It's a unique venue..that going across the league, I don't think there is any like it. so I am excited for our fans to see it and experience it."
