Janesville woman killed in rollover crash

CLINTON (WKOW) -- One woman was killed and two others were hurt when their car rolled over Wednesday afternoon.

The Rock County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called just before 2 p.m. to the crash on S. Summerville Road near the overpass for Interstate 43 in Clinton Township.

Their investigation shows the driver lost control and the car crossed the road, went into the ditch, rolled multiple times and came to rest on its roof.

Deputies say a woman riding in the back seat, 45-year-old Loeun Oeun of Janesville, was not wearing her seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, Sokhon Pek, 46, of Janesville, and a passenger in the front, Pea Pek, 38, of Janesville, were both taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The sheriff's department says no citations or charges have been filed at this point.
