Beloit police looking for man who robbed Walgreens

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Police in Beloit are looking for a man they say robbed a Walgreens pharmacy.

Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, officers say the suspect, 28-year-old Justin Drost, handed a note to the pharmacy clerk indicating he had a weapon and demanding some controlled medications. After Drost received some pills, police say he took off in a white van.

The Beloit Police Department says it used the store's surveillance video to identify Drost.

Officers say Drost is also wanted for warrants through the Rock County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Corrections.

Anyone with information about the crime or Drost's whereabouts should call the Beloit Police Department at 364-6800 or Beloit Area Crime Stoppers at 362-7463. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
