CEO of Boys & Girls Club "serves" 48 hours on top of brat fest truck

MADISON (WKOW) -- A mock judge orders the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County to "serve" 48 hours on top of a brat fest truck to raise money for the organization.

The Boys & Girls Club wants to raise $350,000 by July 20th. Michael Johnson has been sleeping, biking and making phone calls on-top of the truck since July 18th. This is the Club's largest fundraiser and the money raised goes directly to inspiring more than 3,000 youth in Dane County who need it most.

Madison Police Chief Noble Wray escorted Johnson to the brat fest truck on Thursday. He's staying at the intersection of University Avenue and Midvale Boulevard near Hilldale Mall.

The public is invited to attend and watch Johnson on top of the truck.

The public is also urged to make financial contributions to the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County by clicking here. In addition, Pizza Hut will be on site, selling pizza and beverages, and all proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

Watch Wake Up Wisconsin at 6:00 a.m. to see a live interview about the event.
