UPDATE: 4th suspect in Montee Ball attack headed to trial


MADISON (WKOW) -- The fourth man accused of attacking former Badgers running back Montee Ball is headed to trial.

Karlis Griffin was bound over for trial on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old was arrested earlier this month in Chicago and brought back to Madison to face a substantial battery charge.

His next court date has not yet been set.


MADISON (WKOW) -– The fourth suspect in the Montee Ball attack will have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday.

Twenty-eight-year-old Karlis Griffin was arrest last week.

The attack happened last summer when the former Badger football star was beaten by four men and suffered a concussion.

The three other suspects have already been found responsible for their roles in the attack.
