Beaver Creek Reserve hosts annual butterfly festival


Fall Creek (Press Release) - Join butterfly enthusiasts to celebrate the unique wonder and beauty of butterflies this Sunday, Aug. 4 from 1-3:30 pm at Beaver Creek Reserve.

The afternoon will be filled with activities in the Reserve's Butterfly House and Nature Center. Fun and discovery of these winged creatures will delight all ages. Children activities include face painting and games, mini-seminars will be offered throughout the afternoon which includes monarch-tagging demonstrations, butterfly gardening tips and other butterfly related information. Tours of the Reserve's butterfly house and the caterpillar lab will also be offered.  Finish off the afternoon with a refreshing butterfly-themed snack.

Beaver Creek Reserve is a special place that connects people with nature. The Reserve is located four miles north of Fall Creek on County Road K.
