UPDATE: Police identify man that died after falling into lake

Rusk County (WQOW) - An update on the man who died after falling into a lake in Rusk County.

Lawrence Tyler of Tony died after being rescued by a boater in Lake Flambeau. The sheriff's office says Tyler fell off a dock at his home.

An autopsy showed he died of a medical condition, not drowning. Tyler was 91.

Rusk County (WQOW) - A man has died after falling into a lake in Rusk County.

Rescuers were called to Lake Flambeau shortly after 8 p.m. Monday night on a report of a possible drowning.

The sheriff's office says an elderly man fell off a dock into the lake. A nearby boater helped him out of the water. He was taken to the hospital but later died.

The cause of death is under investigation but is not considered suspicious. The man's name has not been released.
