Jackson County (WQOW) - A semi driver has been ticketed because of a crash Tuesday night.
Investigators say he wasn't paying attention. The semi he was driving rear-ended another semi on I-94.
crash happened near Black River Falls around 5 p.m. No one was
seriously hurt. The state patrol says one semi was parked on the
shoulder because the engine failed.
It was struck from behind
by another semi, which then went into the median and caught fire.
The driver was able to escape with minor injuries. The state patrol
says he was reaching for something that fell out of an overhead
compartment and to the floor by his feet when the crash happened.
was given a ticket for inattentive driving which carries a fine of
$188. Traffic was re-routed for about three hours
because of the crash.

It happened around 5 p.m. on the eastbound lanes near Black River Falls. The Wisconsin State Patrol says a semi hit another semi that was disabled on the side of the road. Minor injuries were reported.
Both lanes were blocked and traffic was re-routed for about three hours.
