Madison Top Company bringing back vintage shirts

MADISON (WKOW) -- A local apparel company is turning back the clock ahead of its 40th anniversary.

Madison Top Company is re-releasing its "Mad City" shirts with vintage colors for shirts and the designs.

Sales manager Aaron Frank says it's a way for them to celebrate their longevity.

"It's exciting when you've got a design that you've had and worked with and it stays for a large part of time, that's kind of nice to have, as well as to still have interest 40 years later," Frank says.

Madison Top started printing in 1974.

The company is part of a pilot program with Hanes, in which each shirt sold earns a Box Top for Education to benefit local schools.
