Do you want to learn more about the cultural heritage of Africa? Perhaps you love African food, music or art? This weekend you can find it all at Africa Fest.

The long-running event is coming to Warner Park this Saturday.  The festival is an educational and enjoyable event devoted to grassroots cultural heritage.  It features musicians, artists, performers, cooks, craftspeople and scholars who will be demonstrating, presenting, and discussing the cultural traditions of recent African immigrants in the Madison area.  African immigrants living in the Madison area will talk about their daily lives, history and cultural identity.

Food vendors will be on hand, as well as craft vendors spread across the park.  A popular new addition to the festival is the "African Tent" it brings a physical representation of a real African village.

This years theme is "Textiles in Africa" admission is $2 for the general public and free for children under 12.  Click here for more information.
