Madison (WQOW) -- Among the things on display during Monday afternoon's at the Badgers scrimmage at Camp Randall Stadium is Wisconsin's new 3-4 defense.
The defensive players have been working on this scheme since spring ball.
"There are only a handful of teams in the NCAA that run a 3-4," says Wisconsin senior nose guard Beau Allen, "so it will be hard for teams to imitate us in scout team. offensive lines aren't really accustomed to blocking 3-4's so I think that will be nice for us."
"We're so much more attack oriented," says Wisconsin senior defensive end Ethan Hemer, "we attack and come off the ball and we make offenses dictate to what we do instead of dictating to what offenses do."
