Badgers lose to Carleton University in basketball exhibition
OTTAWA, Canada (WKOW) -- The Badger basketball team's Canadian trip started with a thud. Wisconsin was worked over by Carleton University 95-82.
Carleton has won nine of the last 11 Canadian national titles. They wasted no time proving themselves to the Badgers. Carlton led by 15 at the half. They outscored Wisconsin 46-26 in the paint.
Sam Dekker led a big second half rally for the Badgers. The sophomore scored 28 points. Traevon Jackson added 19. Frank Kaminsky scored 14. Josh Gasser played 12 minutes as he returns from injury. He scored two points.
The Badgers have four more exhibitions in Canada. They will play against the University of Ottawa on Thursday.
