Public credited in helping solve illegal deer kill case

Posted:

Trempealeau County (WQOW) - The DNR says the public was pivotal in the case of a man who illegally killed 22 deer.

Mark Kamrowski was sentenced in Trempealeau County recently.  The deer were killed on a farm between Galesville and Arcadia.  The DNR says several people provided tips about his hunting activities.  The department says without that information, it never would've been able to stop this case of illegal hunting.

Kamrowski, from Galesville, has lost his hunting and fishing privileges for nine years as part of the penalty.  He was also ordered to pay thousands of dollars in fines and court costs... and must complete 80 hours of community service.
