Darlington man faces 255 years in prison

DARLINGTON (WKOW) -- A criminal complaint had been signed and filed in Lafayette County Circuit Court against a registered sex offender.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Darlington Police Department.

46-year-old Timmy Reichling is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, three counts of being a registered sex offender who intentionally photographed a minor without consent and five counts of being in possession of child pornography.

At 9:30 Thursday morning, August 22nd, Darling police executed a search warrant and arrested Reichling at his residence.  The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation assisted.

If convicted on all counts, he faces 255 years in prison.

This morning, August 27th, Reichling had an arraignment in Lafayette County Court.  Bail was set at $1 million.  The District Attorney argued the bail should be high as Reichling poses a threat to the victims in this matter, some of whom reside in Darlington.  The judge agreed.

If convicted of the eleven counts, Reichling, faces 255 years imprisonment.
