Overnight stabbing, suspects still at large


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison resident suffered minor injuries after being stabbed early Wednesday morning.

Madison Police say the 35-year-old victim was walking on Northport Drive when a vehicle pulled up next to him. Two suspects exited the car; the first demanded items and pointed a gun at him, the second go into a physical confrontation with the victim.

Officials say after the suspects took off with some items, the victim realized he was stabbed. He received minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.

Authorities describe the two suspects as black males: one with short braids, the other with shoulder length dreads. The first was in a blue hoodie and armed with the black handgun. The second had a maroon or brown shirt and was armed with a knife. Both suspects are still at large.
