Police hand out 13 citations at first Badger game


MADISON (WKOW) -- UW-Madison police have issued 13 citations at the first Badger game at Camp Randall Stadium this season.

The game against UMass kicked off at 11 a.m. Police say 13 people were arrested, 11 of those UW students, for underage drinking.

27 people were ejected from the game. 20 of those ejections were UW students. 

Last year, police issued 20 citations at the first game, which was on September 1. 30 were ejected from the game.
