BERLIN, Wis. (WKOW) -- A woman has been arrested for hitting and killing a man with a vehicle.
City of Berlin police say on Sunday afternoon officers were called to the intersection of Center Street and E. Moore Street. A 22-year-old Oshkosh man was struck by a vehicle and had multiple injuries. The man was airlifted to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver, a 22-year-old Oshkosh woman, was arrested on a tentative charge of reckless homicide.
Police have not released the identity of the victim or the suspect, saying the family has not been notified and the case is still not closed.
"This is an ongoing investigation with several Berlin Police Department officers collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses," says Capt. Kevin Block.
An autopsy has been scheduled and police are expected to release more information.
