Andersen wants improvement on special teams

MADISON, WI (WKOW) -- Despite a solid performance from the Badgers football team in Saturday's season opener against Massachusetts, head coach Gary Andersen feels the team still has a lot of room to improve, especially on special teams.

Wisconsin had a missed field goal attempt in the second quarter from kicker Kyle French. They also punted six times, which the Minutemen returned for 188 yards.

Fortunately, Massachusetts did not take advantage of some of the Badgers' mistakes, but Andersen knows other teams won't be so obliging.
