Menomonie (WQOW) -- Based on his performance Saturday, you would not know that junior quarterback Hank Kujak was making his first start for Stout.
Kujak led the Blue Devils to a 35-20 win over Dakota Wesleyan, throwing for 262 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
"Anytime you start a new season, it takes a little bit for things to get going and we had a little bit of a slow start. But he quickly got into a good rhythm," says head coach Clayt Birmingham. "I was impressed with Hank. Going into his first game, his first start really, you look at how he's going to lead. He was a good ringleader and kind of controlled the whole offense."
The Blue Devils are on the road for the team's second game to take on the University of Jamestown.
