Study shows some tech schools get graduates better salaries than universities

Eau Claire (WQOW)- Spending your hard-earned money on a four-year college education might not make as much sense as you think says a new report; especially when there are better options out there for you.

The report released by Collegemeasures.org studied and compiled what four-year-degree graduates make their first year out of school compared to graduates with two-year-degrees.  It found that in some cases, like Texas, students with two-year tech degrees earned on average, $11,000 a year more than students with their Bachelor Degrees.  There is a catch though.  According to the report students with four-year degrees have a higher earnings potential in their lifetimes compared to students with tech degrees.
