Update: Chippewa Falls police look for vehicle damaged in hit and run

Posted:

Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - Chippewa Falls Police are getting tips, but so far, no arrest has been made in a hit and run.

Yesterday around 4:00 p.m. a red mid-90's Pontiac Grand Prix was involved in a crash. It happened near the intersection of Seymour Cray Boulevard and Park Avenue. Police say the car hit a motorcycle and then drove through the valley credit union parking lot. The car never stopped. The man on the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with a head injury. There's no word on his condition. Police want to know if you recognize the car, which will now be damaged.

"I think the damage may be minor on the sides of the vehicle. And if there's hood damage, it would be shallow over a large area. The speculation at this time is that it would have front end damage and possibly hood damage," said Sgt. Daniel Marcell of the Chippewa Falls Police Department.

If you know anything that can help, please call Chippewa Falls Police at (715) 723-4424.
