Chippewa Valley (WQOW) - Volunteers across the Chippewa Valley once again rolled up their sleeves Friday for the annual United Way Day of Caring.
Nearly 600 people pitched in at non-profits in the area. They helped out with projects that the organizations don't have the time, money or people to do on their own. This year more volunteers helped more non-profits than last year.
And last year workers donated $20,000 worth of free labor.
