Not guilty plea in bicyclist death

Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - The Cadott woman charged with hitting and killing a Chippewa Falls dentist while biking has pleaded not guilty.

Krista Holler, 27, entered that plea Friday during a preliminary hearing. She's been charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.

Dr. Robert Tschabrun was killed June 1st when he was biking near Stanley. Investigators say Holler was driving the car that hit the bike, and had been drinking. They also say Holler abandoned her car, left the scene of the crash and did not notify authorities.

When authorities spoke with her, Holler said she swerved to avoid a deer and didn't remember hitting a bike before going into the ditch. Her license was also suspended at the time of the crash.
