JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Janesville police release surveillance pictures of a suspect involved in an early morning robbery.

Police say the suspect robbed the Walgreens on Milton Avenue around 5:30 Tuesday morning.  He entered the store and demanded prescription medication from the pharmacy.  The suspect did display what appeared to be the butt end of a long gun, which was tucked into his pants.

The suspect is described as 5'10" to 6' tall with a stocky build.  He was wearing a tan jacket, green hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, dark shoes, and had his face covered by a camouflage bandana.  The suspect was also carrying a dark colored duffle bag.

The suspect left the scene, on foot, with an undetermined amount of medication.  He was last seen running in a westerly direction.

Police say no one was injured in the incident.  However, anyone who may have information regarding this robbery or the identity of the suspect, is urged to call the Janesville Police Department at 608-755-3100 or Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at 608-756-3636.
