White House firecracker thrower has case in Milwaukee


MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Hours after the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, a man was arrested for creating a security scare at the White House.

It's the same man accused of spraying graffiti on Milwaukee's federal courthouse.

Secret Service agents arrested 52-year-old Alexander Sahagian for allegedly throwing two firecrackers over the White House fence.

Sahagian faces charges in D.C. for throwing projectiles and violating fireworks regulations.

A family member confirmed to our Milwaukee affiliate, WISN-TV, that the man arrested in Washington is Sahagian.

In Wisconsin, Sahagian is accused of tagging the front of the federal courthouse in Milwaukee in August.
