Officials say at least 58 missing after landslide in Mexico

ACAPULCO, MEXICO (WKOW) – Mexico officials say at least 58 people are missing in a mountain village after many homes were buried by a landslide.

The mayor of a village near Acapulco told CNN that 15 bodies have been recovered and at least 70 people remain trapped under the mud.

Mexico's Interior Minister Miguel Angel Osorio Chong says rescue crews have evacuated 344 people from La Pintada village.  He says another 45 people will be flown out of the area on Thursday.

Authorities worry there could be more landslides as hurricane Manuel pounds the Pacific coast.
