COPY-Wis. historical site to offer autumn celebration
MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A southeastern Wisconsin historical site is planning an autumn celebration next month complete with pumpkin carving and scary stories.
The celebration at Wade House is set for Oct. 12 and Oct. 13. The itinerary includes seasonal games from the late 19th century, hot cider, a two-mile horse-drawn carriage ride, pumpkin and turnip carving and scary stories by candlelight.
Tickets cost $11 for adults and $5.50 for children between the ages of 5 and 17. Students and senior citizens can get in for $9.25.
Wade House is an 1860s stagecoach inn located outside Plymouth.
