Milwaukee woman tries to enter 9/11 memorial with handgun

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A Milwaukee woman is in police custody accused of trying to enter the 9/11 memorial in New York with a loaded handgun.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Police say 41-year-old Ursula Jerry's gun had two rounds in the magazine.

A private security guard working at the screening center stopped her and alerted police. Jerry was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Officials say she does not have a gun permit in any state.
