(Press Release) – The Thursday Noon Kiwanis Club of Eau Claire will hold its 57th Annual Kiwanis Paul Bunyan Flapjack Day fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Eau Claire Memorial High School cafeteria.
All proceeds will go to support community service projects including scholarships, sponsored school service clubs, and many other youth-oriented and civic improvement programs. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Paul Bunyan Logging Camp Museum in Carson Park, which club members created in 1934 and continue to help support with volunteer efforts.
The menu includes pancakes, sausage and applesauce. The event will include a silent auction of donated items and visits from Paul Bunyan and the "Pancake Man." Advance tickets available from Kiwanis members, youth club members, and at major grocery outlets are $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12 ($7 and $3.50 at the door).
