Driver faces serious charges after crash

Polk County (WQOW) - Less than two years after being sentenced for a crash that injured her two kids, a woman is in trouble again behind the wheel.

Jenny Jasperson has been charged with drunk driving causing injury.  She's accused of crashing a car in Polk County last week.  Investigators believe she went into a ditch three times, hit a sign and a tree.  The passenger had a broken leg and Jasperson was accused of leaving him at the scene.  Investigators also say she was driving with a suspended license.

A few years ago, she was high on prescription drugs when she crashed her car.  One of her children was thrown from the car and suffered a brain injury.  She was given a year in jail in that case.
