WI woman claims $1M Powerball prize

MADISON (WKOW) -- A $1 million Wisconsin Powerball winner has finally claimed her prize.

Paula Steffes of Kaukauna won the Sept. 4 drawing.

Steffes received $672,500 in a single lump sum after taxes.

Steffes used her own numbers to match all five regular winning numbers, but not the Powerball, to win the $1 million prize.

The winning numbers drawn Sept. 4 were 2, 9, 26, 45 and 47, with a Powerball of 11.

Steffes bought her winning ticket at Crooks Express in Kaukauna.
