Citizen offers $10,000 reward to help solve horse attack

Posted:

Dunn County (WQOW) - Thanks to a concerned citizen, the reward in a Dunn County case has been increased substantially.

The sheriff's office has been investigating the death of a horse named Leo.  The animal was staying at a facility near Colfax when someone led him into an office.  He was injured as he fought his way though a wall to break free.  A local veterinarian tried to save Leo, but ultimately, they had to put him down.

An anonymous citizen has now posted a $10,000 reward for information that solves the case. If you can help investigators, call the Dunn County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-847-3866.  You can also send an anonymous tip by texting "TIPDUNN" plus the message to "CRIMES" (274637).
