Wisconsin head coach Mike Eaves Wisconsin head coach Mike Eaves

Madison (WQOW) -- The Wisconsin hockey team moves up to second in the latest USCHO poll after opened its season with a home sweep of Northern Michigan.

Next up for the Badgers is a road trip to face seventh-ranked Boston College and number fifteen Boston University.

Mike Eaves and the Badgers have been talking about getting off to a good start.  This is the first time's Wisconsin's started 2-0 since 2004.

"The mindset is the push," says Eaves, "we're going to push forward. You come to the rink. You've got a couple wins under your belt. You've got a little jump in your step. Now is the time you can put the pedal to the metal, so to speak as far as a coach and show them video. Hold them accountable and want more from them this week."
