Packers place Cobb on injured reserve


GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The Packers have placed receiver Randall Cobb on the injured reserve with the designation that he can return this season. The club also promoted Myles White and Jake Stoneburner from the practice squad.

White is a 6'0" undrafted rookie receiver out of Louisiana Tech. He has been on the club's practice squad all season. He played in 22 games at Louisiana Tech over two seasons. He caught 86 passes for 1,132 yards and nine touchdowns.

Stoneburner is an undrafted rookie tight end out of Ohio State. The 6'3", 249-pounder has been on the team's practice squad all season. In college, he caught 53 passes for 714 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The Packers also placed offensive lineman Greg Van Roten on the injured reserve and signed linebacker Victor Aiyewa to the practice squad.
