DCHS hosts a spooky weekend with the "Haunted Woods Trail"

MADISON (WKOW) -- If you're brave enough for the Haunted Woods Trail it's going on this weekend at the Dane County Humane Society.

The Haunted Woods Trail benefits the DCHS Wildlife Rehab Center. The Four Lakes Wildlife Center (FLWC) is dedicated to providing responsible care for the ill, injured and orphaned wildlife of south central Wisconsin, and to promoting education and awareness of the crucial role of wildlife in our community.

You can attend the Haunted Woods Trail at the Dane County Humane Society on October 18, 19 and 25 and 26. It runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 5132 Voges Road in Madison. The family, fun matinee will be on Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Watch Wake Up Wisconsin at 6:00 a.m. to meet our Pet of the Week! You can adopt Jambo, a hound dog. Jambo is looking for a new home. This weekend the DCHS and eight Wisconsin rescues will participant in the ASPCA Mega Match-a-Thon. The DCHS will offer 50 percent off dogs, cats and kittens.

Eight local shelters and rescues will be participating in the ASPCA Mega Match-a-thon this weekend.
