Young, blind candy maker hosts chocolate festival in Theresa


THERESA (WKOW) -- A young entrepreneur and candy maker shares some speciality chocolate ideas and the craft of chocolate making in Wisconsin.

Joel Bernhard of "Confections for Any Occasion" in Theresa, Wisconsin is legally blind and works with his memory and senses to make chocolates.

On Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., sample the tastes of fall with pumpkin pie truffles, new chocolate covered bacon, cranberry wine and more.

"Guests can taste more than 20 local, fall-inspired comfort foods," says Joel Bernhard, owner and blind candy maker of Confections for Any Occasion. "We've got treats for everyone!"

The event will be at 101 North Milwaukee Street in Theresa.
