MCFARLAND (WKOW) -- McFarland's police chief tells 27 News a subpoena is being issued to get credit card information on a gas station customer, to make sure his teenage passenger is not in danger.

Chief Craig Sherven says a witness saw the man at a Citgo gas station in McFarland Friday at approximately 6:45 p.m., with a naked, or partially clothed girl in her teens in the man's white, four door Volkswagen Passat.

Authorities say the car had a California license plate, but the plate number is not visible on the gas station's surveillance video.

Sherven says the man used a credit card at the gas station pump, and a subpoena is being presented to the Florida-based issuer of the card to get information on his identity.

Sherven tells 27 News a check of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has produced no additional information.

If you have any information connected to the car's presence at the station on Terminal Drive, you are asked to contact the McFarland Police Department at (608) 838-3151.
