Badgers Left Out Of First BCS Standings

Madison (WQOW) -- Despite a resume that features five wins and two losses by nine combined points, the Wisconsin football team was left out for the first BCS Standings.

The Badgers might have trouble helping their cause going forward, with none of the team's final five opponents ranked in any poll. Coach Gary Andersen says he's not concerning himself with rankings this early in the season.

"I'm only going to worry about the things I can worry about and try to get the kids ready to go play every single week. I haven't really put any thought into that," says Andersen. "I've been to two BCS bowl games in my life, and at the end of the year, they were really good teams. If you're really good at the end of the year, you probably have a good opportunity here to go to a BCS bowl."
