Eau Claire man sentenced for pharmacy robbery

Eau Claire (WQOW) - An Eau Claire man, who robbed a pharmacy, is going to prison.

Donald Mickelson has been sentenced to two years behind bars.  He held up the Value Center Pharmacy on East Clairemont in April.

Court documents show the store had just closed when Mickelson knocked on the door and said he was there to pick up a prescription.  He was allowed inside, where an employee says Mickelson pointed a gun at him and demanded Ritalin.  It turns out the gun was actually a toy gun that was apparently shoplifted minutes earlier from a nearby store.
