Madison police investigate shots fired


MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police responded to the 1700 block of Fordem ave. early Tuesday morning when residents reported hearing gun shots.

Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after 12:30 a.m. and found shell casings. According to Madison police, no one witnessed the incident and no injuries were reported.

It is the second night in a row Madison police have been called to the scene after shots were fired. On Monday, officers found five shell casings on Oak St. Authorities don't believe the incidents are related, but they are investigating.
