Haunted benefit for young girl with leukemia

WISCONSIN RAPIDS (WKOW) -- A couple in Wisconsin Rapids is using their love of Halloween to help a young girl.

Mike and Bonita Wolosek are using their haunted playground as a fundraiser to benefit 3-year-old Hadley Behrend, who's fighting leukemia.

Mike even takes a week off from work to put the display together.

"We do this every year anyway and if we can help some family out for the work we do it's well worth it to us," he said.

"It's just a feeling that you know that you might be saving that little girl's life by putting this benefit on," said Bonita.

Last year, the Woloseks say nearly 1,000 people went through the haunted playground.

It'll be open for one night only, this Sunday.
