Prescott police hope surveillance picture will lead to armed robbery suspect

Prescott (WQOW)- Police hope a surveillance picture of an armed robbery suspect will help them crack the case.

Prescott police released this picture Wednesday.  It was taken during the October 12th armed robbery of the BP Amoco convenience store in Prescott. The man demanded money and showed a partially concealed object that the clerk believed was a weapon.

Anyone with information should call Prescott police.

Press Release The Prescott Police Department is asking for assistance from the public
is identifying a suspect in an armed robbery which took at the BP Amoco
Convenience Store at 302 Lake Street on Saturday, October 12 at 8:45 pm.
A male five-foot-7 to five-foot-9 and weighing 160 to 170 pounds walked
into the store and demanded money from a clerk. The subject was wearing
a shiny black jacket with a hood and a bandana over his nose and mouth.
The suspect has dark hair and wears glasses. The suspect displayed a
partially concealed object that the clerk believed was a weapon. The
suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Anyone with any
information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Robert Funk at the

officer.
