MADISON (WKOW) – The Madison man who held police at bay for more than 12 hours in standoff last month will be in court on Thursday.

Steven Boyle has been charged with seven felonies including resisting officers and causing injury to a K-9 officer.

According to Dane County officials, Boyle has a history of resisting arrest and neighbors say the 51-year-old has been a long time threat to their community.

Boyle will be in court Thursday afternoon for a preliminary hearing.
