Man accused of making homemade bombs in custody

SUSSEX (WKOW) – A 20-year-old man is in police custody after they found two homemade explosive devices at an apartment in Waukesha County.

According to WTMJ radio, Waukesha County Sheriff's Inspector Eric Severson says authorities received a tip that the man was making bombs in his home.  Authorities arrested the man and got a search warrant for his apartment.

After authorities evacuated neighbors, the Milwaukee County bomb squad detonated the bombs found in the Sussex apartment.  Federal agents are in the process of examining the parts of the bombs.
